PUBLISHING ARTICLES ON THIS WEBSITE

Business Location:
Your business must be located within the Metropolitan area of Austin, Texas.

Copyright:
Your article must be an original article that you wrote, or you must have a copyright or license to publish from the original author. This applies to all photos and graphics.

You represent and unconditionally guarantee to AustinArticles.com that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other content furnished for publication are owned by you, or that you have permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend AustinArticles.com from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements.

License:
You grant AustinArticles.com a permanent, non-expiring license to publish and distribute your article via any means it chooses. You also authorize AustinArticles.com to make your article available for publishing on other websites.

Editing:
AustinArticles.com may, at its discretion, edit your article for length, spelling, grammar and content. All articles must contain at least 250 words, with a maximum of 1,000 words (you are welcome to break up a long article into parts and submit them separately as part 1, part 2, etc). We reserve the right to reject any article submitted.

Links:
All links in your article must be directed to your website only. The article body may contain 1 link and the author bio may contain 1 link. You are responsible for coding any links in your article.

Photos/Graphic Images:
You are welcome to include photos and/or graphics in your article - in fact we encourage you to. Photos help break up the text and add eye appeal. You are responsible for writing the HTML code for the image, and the image must be housed on your server. After your article has been approved for publication, we will transfer the image to our server. The copyright terms above apply to all images. FLASH objects are not allowed.

HTML:
If you are using tables or CSS to format your article, the maximum width for any element is 650 pixels. All CSS styling must be contained in the head section of the page - you may not refer to an external stylesheet. The only HTML tags allowed other than links and line breaks are:
  • <b>BOLD</b>
  • <i>ITALICS</i>
  • <u>UNDERLINE</u>
All HTML must validate using the W3C validator and must be version 4.01 Transitional//EN. Your article may not contain JavaScript, PHP or any language other than HTML.
